Marie is a thief, or worse actually, a kleptomaniac! After a serious brush with the law, Marie's affluent parents manage to convince the judge that Marie is a special problem youngster and that juvenile detention wouldn't solve her problem. The judge agrees and so 19 year old Marie is sent to live with Chelsea, her court appointed guardian, whose job it is is to keep Marie on the straight and narrow.
